DISPOSAL OF CQC LTD
Avon Rubber p.l.c. announces that it has today completed
the sale of its subsidiary company, CQC LTD (formerly
known as CQC PLC) for a total consideration of #1.6
million payable in cash.
CQC has been purchased by a new company Crossco (430) Ltd
which has been formed by three existing Directors of CQC,
Mr Mike Rennie, (Managing Director), Mr Peter Gulliford,
(Marketing Director) and Mr Alan Greene, (Finance
Director).
Based in Barnstaple, Devon, CQC employs 157 people in the
manufacture of a wide range of advanced textile based
clothing and personal protection equipment for armed
forces.
This disposal will enable Avon Rubber's Technical
Products Division to concentrate on its core activities.
