Axis Intermodal received notification today from Barclays PLC, on behalf of
Barclays Stockbrokers Ltd, pursuant to the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules
that, following an acquisition of ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company
('Ordinary Shares')on 19 September 2007, Barclays Stockbrokers Ltd has an
interest in 10,023,913 Ordinary Shares. This represents approximately 17.03 per
cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
