Pursuant to the above-named Company's Share Option Schemes options over
8,668,304 Ordinary Shares of 60p each have been exercised. A total of 3,961,951
shares have been issued under The Executive Share Option Scheme and 4,706,353
shares have been issued under The Save As You Earn Scheme. Accordingly,
application has been made to The UK Listing Authority for these shares to be
admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares
to be admitted to trading.  The Shares rank pari passu with the existing issued
shares of the Company.
