Additional Listing

BAE SYSTEMS PLC

A listing application has been made by BAE Systems plc (the 'Company') for
174,418,605 ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in the Company to be admitted to
the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange plc's main market for listed securities. The shares will be issued
fully paid and will rank equally in all respects with the existing ordinary
shares of the Company, including the right to receive all future dividends and
other distributions, other than the final dividend for the year ended 31
December 2006 of 6.9 pence per ordinary share announced on 22 February 2007.

These shares will be issued pursuant to the Placing announced on 7 May 2007.
