Statement regarding the company name change of European Exchange Traded Fund
Company plc ('EETF Co' or 'the Company')
At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held 27 March 2007, the proposal
to change the Company's name to iShares II plc was approved. The implementation
of the new Company name was estimated to take place on or around 31 July 2007.
It has become necessary to postpone the implementation of the Company name
change to occur on or around 1 October 2007 ('the Implementation Date'). This
is to accommodate the revision of certain regulatory documentation of the
Company which is currently in process.
Further announcements regarding the Company change of name and regulatory
document changes will be made closer to the Implementation Date.
