Notification made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

The Company was notified today that Carl Symon, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility, acquired 10,000 ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in BAE Systems plc on 5 June 2009 at a price of 339.985 pence per share.  The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange.
