Notification made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

The Company was notified yesterday that Carl Symon, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 10,000 ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in BAE Systems plc on 22 June 2011 at a price of 309.6 pence per share.  The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange.
