Directorate change


Dr Ulrich Cartellieri will retire from the BAE Systems Board on 26 September
2007, the Company having stated last year in the Annual Report and Accounts that
he wished to retire in the second half of 2007.

Dick Olver said,  'The period in which Ulrich has served on the Board has seen a
huge step-change in the Company's development as a global defence and aerospace
company and his contribution to the Board throughout this period has been
greatly valued by his fellow directors.'
