                 BAE Systems completes sale of Atlas Elektronik

Further to the announcement of 30 December 2005, and following receipt of all
required regulatory approvals, BAE Systems has today completed the sale of all
of the share capital of Atlas Elektronik GmbH, the Bremen based naval
electronics company, to ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG and EADS Deutschland GmbH.
