Appointment of Director

The Board of Witan Pacific Investment Trust plc announces the appointment today of Diane Seymour-Williams as a non-executive Director of the Company.  Mrs Seymour-Williams has a MA in Economics from Cambridge University, and is Head of Client and Business Strategy at Lloyd George Management.

Gillian Nott, Chairman, said "Diane has extensive experience in pan-Asian investment management and I am delighted to welcome her to the Board".

The Company confirms that there are no matters under UKLA Listing Rules LR 9.6.13 (2) - LR 9.6.13 (6) requiring disclosure.
