Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Witan Pacific Investment Trust plc is delighted to announce that Chris Ralph has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2017.

As previously announced, Sarah Bates, the current Company Chair, retires from the Board today, following the Annual General Meeting, and is being replaced as Company Chair by Ms Susan Platts-Martin.

Mr Ralph has over 30 years' experience in the financial services sector, including over 15 years' experience of investment manager selection and monitoring. Since 2009, he has been Chief Investment Officer at St. James's Place plc, with responsibility for assets under management of nearly £80 billion. Mr Ralph has extensive knowledge and experience of the Asia-Pacific region and is Chair of the Asia Investment Committee at St. James's Place. 

The Company confirms that there are no matters which are required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6).
