Witan Pacific Investment Trust PLC (the 'Company')



Announcement of results of EGM



At an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, a special
resolution was proposed to authorise the Directors to make market purchases of
up to 11,953,133 of the Company's own shares, or if less, up to 14.99 per cent
of the total number of shares in issue at the date of the resolution.


The Company confirms that at today's Extraordinary General Meeting the
resolution set out in the Notice of the Meeting was duly passed.
