WITAN PACIFIC INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the "Company")

Annual General Meeting

The Company confirms that at its Annual General Meeting held on 9 June 2014 (the "Meeting") all resolutions set out in the Notice of the Meeting were duly passed.

Copies of all resolutions passed at the Meeting will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do .

As previously disclosed in the Company's 2014 annual report, Gill Nott will retire today after 15 years of service, 8 years of which were served as Chairman. Sarah Bates, who assumes the Chairmanship immediately after the AGM, makes the following comments:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Gill very much for her extensive and effective contribution to the success of the Company as a non-executive director and Chairman over a number of years. We all wish her well for the future."
