Cancellation of shares held in treasury

Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the 'Company') announces that the Company has today cancelled 2,899,000 of its ordinary shares of 25p each which had previously been held in treasury. 

Following this cancellation of shares, the Company's issued share capital consists of 157,376,900 ordinary shares of 25p each, of which 500,000 are held in treasury by the Company. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 156,876,900.
