plc had a notifiable interest, through legal entities listed below, in 7,576,003
ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, being 4.60% of the 165,645,900
shares in issue.

The details of the legal entities are as follows: Gerrard Ltd, 5,097,892 shares;
Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd, 14,351 shares; Barclays Private Bank Ltd,
10,100 shares; Barclays Life Assurance Co Ltd, 207,471 shares; Barclays Global
Investors Ltd, 2,237,189 shares and Barclays Private Bank and Trust Ltd, 9,000
shares.  The shareholdings are held through various nominee accounts.
