in 8,293,344 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, being 5.03% of the 
164,645,900 shares in issue.

The details of the legal entities are as follows: Gerrard Ltd, 5,845,998 shares;
Barclays Bank Trust Company Ltd, 14,351 shares; Barclays Private Bank Ltd,
10,100 shares; Barclays Life Assurance Co Ltd, 207,471 shares; Barclays Global
Investors Ltd, 2,215,424 shares and Barclays Private Bank and Trust Ltd, 10,100
shares. The shareholdings are held through various nominee accounts.
