SALE OF COMPANY'S OWN SHARES FROM TREASURY
The Board of Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the 'Company') announces that a total
of 100,000 of the Company's Ordinary shares of 25p each were sold on 24 October
2007 from the shares held in treasury. These shares were sold at a price of
154.25p per share, representing a premium to underlying net asset value.
The resultant total number of Ordinary shares held in treasury by the Company is
6,549,000. The number of Ordinary shares that the Company has in issue, less the
total number of Ordinary shares held by the Company in treasury following such
sale, is 156,626,900, with each share carrying the right to one vote.
