PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 13 March 2000, the Company
purchased 95,074 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 155.73 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 211,183,263 shares in
issue.
