PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 20 March 2000,
the Company purchased 356,845 shares for cancellation, at a
price of 162.50 pence per share. Following the purchase,
there are a further 209,718,438 shares in issue.
