PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 31 March 2000, the Company
purchased 85,279 shares for cancellation, at a price of 158.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 208,802,509 shares in issue.
