Issue of Equity from Block Listing

Further to the block listing application announcement yesterday, the Board of Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust plc (the "Company") hereby confirms that the application for a block listing of 8,700,000 ordinary shares of 1p each was successful. Accordingly, the three issues announced this week for an aggregate 2,850,000 ordinary shares will be undertaken pursuant to the block listing.

Following these issues, the Company has the ability to issue a further 5,850,000 ordinary shares under its block listing facility.
