 Placing Programme Closure

In October of last year the Company put in place a Placing Programme for up to 250 million new Ordinary Shares. The Programme gives the Company the flexibility to issue Shares on appropriate occasions over the course of a twelve month period in order to satisfy market demand and to raise further money for investment in accordance with the Company's investment policy.

Alongside the Placing Programme, the Company has the ability to issue Shares by way of tap, and indeed has done so on a regular basis since its launch last year. Given the capacity still available under the Company's tap authority, the Board believes there is no practicable need for the Placing Programme to be kept open until its final date of 2 October 2019. Accordingly, the Programme is being brought to an early close with effect from today's date.
