Balfour Beatty plc (the "Company") was informed on 17 April 2012 by the Trustee of the Balfour Beatty Share Incentive Plan 2011 (the "SIP") that on 16 April 2012 each of the following Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs") acquired the number of Ordinary Shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company shown against his name at 272.64p per Ordinary Share through participation in the SIP:
