BOARD CHANGE

Balfour Beatty, the international engineering, construction, investment and services Group, announces that Stephen Howard, who has been a Non-Executive Director of Balfour Beatty since July 2006, will stand down from the Board with effect from today.   

Commenting, Steve Marshall, Balfour Beatty Chairman, said:  

'On behalf of the Board, I would like to offer our sincere thanks to Steve for his contribution over the past three years and wish him well for the future.'

A separate announcement will be made in due course concerning the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director.
