Balfour Beatty plc ('the Company') yesterday received notice from Aviva plc on
behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary, Morley Fund Management Limited
('Morley'), that Morley no longer have a notifiable interest the 50p Ordinary
Shares of the Company.

Similarly, Aviva plc's aggregate material interest, which includes the 50p
Ordinary Shares in which Morley have an interest, is now longer notifiable.
