BALFOUR BEATTY STATEMENT RE ROK

Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, confirms today that it has reached agreement in principle with Rok's administrator to acquire certain parts of Rok's new build affordable housing and general construction division. A further announcement will be made in due course.
