TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Balfour Beatty plc (the "Group" or "Balfour Beatty"), the international infrastructure group, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 5 January 2021 (the "Share Buyback"), the Group purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 50 pence each through BofA Securities.

Aggregate number of ordinary shares of 50 pence each purchased:

243,683

Highest price paid per share (GBp):

300.80

 

Lowest price paid per share (GBp):

295.20

Volume weighted average price paid per share (GBp):

296.2252

 

The Group will hold the repurchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 676,917,576 (excluding treasury shares).

 

The Group has to date, under the Share Buyback, repurchased 12,822,043 ordinary shares at a volume weighted average price of 282.6015 pence, which are to be held in treasury with no voting rights attached. The shares repurchased under the Share Buyback are the only shares held in treasury by the Group.
