TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Balfour Beatty plc (the "Group" or "Balfour Beatty"), the international infrastructure group, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 5 January 2021 (the "Share Buyback"), the Group purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 50 pence each through Numis Securities Ltd.

The Group will hold the repurchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 682,979,744 (excluding treasury shares).
The Group has to date, under the Share Buyback, repurchased 6,759,875 ordinary shares at a volume weighted average price of 274.0744 pence, which are to be held in treasury with no voting rights attached. The shares repurchased under the Share Buyback are the only shares held in treasury by the Group.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), the table available on the Company's website here contains detailed and aggregated information of the individual trades made by Numis Securities Ltd as part of the Share Buyback.
