Further to its announcement on 15 April 2011 in relation to its capital increase (the "Capital Increase"), Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. ("BBVA") hereby confirms that 60, 694, 285 new BBVA shares, each with a par value of forty-nine euro cents (€0.49), issued under the Capital Increase have been admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange on and with effect from 6 May 2011.
