FOURTH INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR YEAR 2000
The Board of Directors of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. has approved
last 19th December 2000, the payment of the fourth interim dividend for year
2000 for all issued shares (3,195,852,043).

0.064 euros (10.65 pesetas approximately) per share.

Payment procedure
The dividend payment will be carried out through the organizations members of
the Servicio de Compensacion y Liquidacion de Valores (SCLV), the security
settlement service of the Spanish Stock Exchange.
This resolution will be announced the 7th of January 2001 on newspapers.
