Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. approved the distribution, to all the 
shares that make the capital (3,195,852,043), of the SUPPLEMENTAL dividend for 
year 2001, in the following manner

Gross Dividend 

0.128 euros

Withholding tax rate 

18%

Business days

Record :     April 9th, 2002 

Ex-dividend: April 10th, 2002 

Payment:     Upon April 10th, 2002



Payment procedure

The dividend perception will be carried out through the organizations members of 
the Servicio de Compensacion y Liquidacion de Valores, SCLV (the security 
settlement service of Spain).

This resolution will be announced the 7th of April of 2002, Sunday, on the 
newspapers.
