Brancote increases its interest in Esquel Gold Project to 76.4%
Brancote Holdings PLC announces that it has acquired Villagarden SA, a
subsidiary of Triak Finance Limited. Villagarden SA holds a 2.4% interest in
the share capital of Minera El Desquite SA (MED) the owners of the Esquel Gold
Project. The consideration paid was 2,604,621 ordinary shares in Brancote
Holdings plc, and Villagarden SA has agreed not to dispose of its holding for
a minimum period of 12 months.
It is anticipated that listing of the new 2,604,621 consideration shares will
take place on 28 November 2001.
