Banco Santander's Board of Directors today agreed to appoint Juan Rodriguez
Inciarte as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank, covering, via
co-optation, the vacancy left by the resignation of Mutua Madrilena
Automovilista as a Board Member representing an ownership interest.
