The Board of Directors of Banco Santander Central Hispano, S.A in today's
meeting, has agreed to nominate Mr. Juan Manuel Cendoya Mendez de Vigo, as
General Manager and member to the Management Committee, responsible for the
Communication and Studies Division, replacing Mr. Luis Abril Perez.
