Brancote Holdings PLC
8 March 2002
Brancote Holdings PLC
The directors of Brancote have noted the rise in the share price yesterday and
today. This may be associated with renewed interest in the company following
the release on 5 March of its latest drilling report on the Esquel Project.
However, the board has received an approach from another company which may lead
to an offer. The directors wish to emphasise that discussions are at a
preliminary stage and there can be no certainty that any offer will be made or
that any such offer would be significantly above the current trading price of
the shares.
The directors will make a further announcement when appropriate.
