Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The board of Bango plc (AIM:BGO.L), the mobile web payments and analytics company announces the appointment today of Dr. Rudy Burger as a Non-Executive Director. Rudy is the managing partner at Woodside Capital Partners and serves on the board of AIM quoted ServicePower Technologies plc.

He was the founding CEO of MIT Media Lab Europe, a $40M joint venture between MIT and the Irish government. He served as SVP Business Development at Visioneer, EVP and CTO for NEC Packard Bell and VP Software for Xerox. Dr. Burger Rudy has a BSc and MSc from Yale University and gained his a PhD from Cambridge University.

Dr. Rudy Burger was a director of Scipher plc until his resignation in September 2004. Scipher plc went into administrative receivership in September 2004.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced with regards to this appointment as outlined under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM rules.
