Bango Annual Report cover released as ultra-limited NFT
A first in company reporting, proceeds will go to Ukraine refugee relief
Cambridge, UK, 08 March, 2022 - Bango (AIM: BGO), the data-driven commerce company, today announces that the front cover artwork created for its 2021 Annual Report is available as a range of ultra-limited NFT (non-fungible token). This allows collectors and investors to own a unique version of the artwork, recorded and registered as theirs alone. The NFTs are available through the OpenSea NFT marketplace ( Bango Limited Edition Collectibles - Collection | OpenSea ), priced between 0.1 ETH and 1.0 ETH at release.
Bango has gained a reputation for eye-catching and unique artwork created specifically for its company reports each year. The image for the Financial Year 2021 report - released on 8 March 2022 - is inspired by the increasing turbulence in the world of digital marketing, and the chaos this has unleashed on the app developer community. Bango has labelled this market disruption the "App-ocalpse", to characterize the turmoil experienced by developers as old certainties in the way online advertisers do business have become increasingly unreliable.
"This is the first time, to the best of my knowledge, that a company has incorporated imagery that is both informative and collectible into the way it reports its business," said Ray Anderson, Executive Chair at Bango. "Bango technology has quickly found favor with companies enabling NFTs to be traded, who want to find new users and collectors, and to simplify payments for their customers. It seems very appropriate for a unique Bango asset to become available as an NFT!"
Proceeds from the sale of the NFTs will go directly to the Disaster Emergency Committee, which is co-ordinating the provision of relief to the refugee crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
