BANGO PLC
("Bango")
Press comment
Bango plc (AIM:BGO), the mobile payments company, notes the recent press commentary about the availability of Direct Carrier Billing for some iTunes users in Germany.
Bango is delighted to see the use of Direct Carrier Billing is being expanded in this way, following the prior support for iTunes voucher sales using Direct Carrier Billing in some countries.
Other app stores providers, including Google, Amazon, Blackberry and Microsoft, have found carrier billing to be a successful payment method and have gradually expanded its availability to more customers. We believe that Apple will see positive results through carrier billing and follow a similar path.
Bango is the number one provider of carrier billing routes for global app stores according to research by Progressive Equity Research (Sept 2015). A link to this report is at http://bangoinvestor.com/
