Change in Director Responsibilities

Bank of Ireland announces the appointment of Mr Patrick Mulvihill as Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of BoIG plc and of the Court Audit Committee of the Bank, replacing Mr Kent Atkinson.  Mr. Atkinson is offering himself for election at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of BoIG plc (and re-election at the forthcoming Annual General Court of the Bank) and, if elected /re-elected, he will continue to serve as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Risk Committees.

The above changes are effective from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of BoIG plc on 20 April 2018.

This disclosure is made in accordance with paragraph 6.6.5 (3) of the Listing Rules.
