Bankers Investment Trust plc (the 'Company')
The Company announces that it has received a requisition on behalf of ST
Partners L.P. requiring the Company to put a resolution to shareholders at its
forthcoming annual general meeting. This resolution is for the Company to put
proposals to shareholders for a tender offer to repurchase up to 70 per cent.
of the Company's shares at a price equal to 98 per cent. of the net asset
value per share.
The Board will be writing to shareholders with its views on the resolution
shortly.
