The independent nominee of the Barclays ESAS Nominee Arrangement notified Barclays PLC (the "Company") on 23 April 2010 that it had on 1 March 2010 exercised its discretion and re-invested the final dividend for 2009 in ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 307.05p per share.
