The Board of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc ('the Company') announces that the calculation
date for the conversion of the C shares into ordinary shares was close of
business on 31 December 2006. The respective Net Asset Values per share were
111.296186p per C share and 115.241994p per ordinary share.
The conversion ratio calculated in accordance with the Company's Articles of
Association was 0.96576068 which results in 9,657 new ordinary shares being
allotted on 23 January 2007, for every 10,000 C shares held or pro rata thereto.
Accordingly, the Board has issued 21,485,211 new ordinary shares which rank pari
passu with the existing ordinary shares. This brings the total number of
ordinary shares in issue to 63,496,638 of which 1,770,000 are held in Treasury.
Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company
is 61,726,638.
Details of the C share conversion and entitlements will be sent to C
shareholders on 29 January 2007. Trading in these additional shares is expected
to commence on 25 January 2007 at 8am. For further information contact:
