The Board of Baronsmead Venture Trust plc (the "Company") announces that on 1 June 2016, 850,000 Ordinary shares of 10p each were sold by the Company from the shares held in Treasury at a price of 91.375p per share.

The resultant total number of Ordinary shares held in Treasury by the Company is 12,893,819

The resultant total number of Ordinary shares that the Company has in circulation following this sale is 171,230,866 and the total number of Ordinary shares that the Company has in issue is 184,124,685. Each share has one voting right.
