Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange Plc for 18,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.

It is expected admission will be granted on 21 December 2001 and that trading
will commence on 4 January 2002.

These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options
under the Executive Share Option Scheme and will rank pari passu with the
existing issued ordinary shares.
