AGM Statement

A.G. BARR p.l.c., the soft drinks group will today hold its Annual General Meeting in Glasgow.

At the AGM, Chairman, Ronnie Hanna will say, "the strong sales growth experienced in 2009/10 has continued into the new financial year and the Company will publish its Interim Management Statement on 2 June 2010 where a trading update will be provided."

No new financial information will be disclosed at the meeting.
