BARRATT DEVELOPMENTS PLC : DISPOSAL OF SHARES FROM EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST
Barratt Developments PLC announce the disposal of shares held in the Barratt
Developments Employee Benefit Trust of which the following directors are
potential beneficiaries:
Mr M S Clare
Mr S J Boyes
Mr C Fenton
Mr M A Pain
Barratt Developments PLC were informed on the 6th February 2007 that on the 6th
February 2007 Mourant & Co. Trustees Limited, as trustee of Barratt Developments
Employee Benefit Trust ('the trust'), disposed of 1,500 Ordinary Shares in the
Company at a price of 1295p per share in satisfaction of options made under
Barratt Developments Employee Share Option Plan.
The Trust is a discretionary trust of which all employees, including executive
directors, of the Company and its subsidiaries are potential beneficiaries.
Each of the executive directors of the Company is, therefore, interested in the
shares held in the Trust from time to time in the same way as other employees of
the Group and ceases to be so interested when the Trust disposes of shares.
This notification is being given pursuant to Section 329 of the Companies Act
1985 (as amended).
