Steven Boyes, Group Executive Director - North, exercise of an option under the Barratt Developments Savings-Related Share Option Scheme

In accordance with the requirements of D.T.R.3.1.2 Barratt Developments PLC (the "Company") was notified on 25 June 2012 that, Steven Boyes, Group Executive Director - North, exercised an option to purchase 16,422 shares at an exercise price of 0.5708 pence per share under the Company's Savings-Related Share Option Scheme, in London, on 25 June 2012.

Following the above exercise, Steven Boyes holds 394,246 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company representing 0.04% of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company confirms that at the date of this announcement, each of the Directors/PDMRs hold the following total number of shares of 10 pence each in the Company:
