Providence Resources P.l.c. have been informed by BlackRock Inc. that with effect from 30 April 2012;

BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited  now hold 8,440,776 ordinary shares of €0.10 each in the capital of the Company representing 13.12% of the issued ordinary share capital.
