BATM advances strategic partnership with Arm

Telco Systems becomes part of new Arm Neoverse ecosystem

BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LSE: BVC), a leading provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, announces that Telco Systems, a wholly-owned high-end software development and design business within the Group's Networking & Cyber division, has advanced its strategic partnership with Arm, the industry's leading supplier of semiconductor IP, in becoming a part of the recently-launched Arm® Neoverse™ ecosystem.

Arm Neoverse is the new brand and roadmap of technologies to enable a new and transformative cloud infrastructure designed to support the demands of a trillion intelligent devices. Telco Systems is a platform provider within the Arm Neoverse ecosystem based on its NFVTime virtualisation technology.

Telco Systems' NFVTime is a holistic solution for network function virtualisation ("NFV") uCPE and edge compute. The NFVTime-OS provides the NFVi virtualisation software that can turn any Arm- or x86-based whitebox device into a high performance uCPE, running any virtual network function ("VNF"). NFVTime supports zero touch provisioning, deployment automation and services lifecycle management capabilities. The NFVTime solution is optimised to run in the Arm environment utilising unique acceleration and security capabilities.

This follows the progress made under the Group's previously-announced joint development agreement with Arm. Telco Systems and Arm are working together to expand the technology partner ecosystem, customer pipeline and other go-to-market activities for the newly developed offerings. Telco Systems and Arm are focusing on developing NFV virtualisation and operational software to support NFV use cases, such as SD-WAN, security and others. The two companies are also creating an ecosystem for system-on-a-chip vendors, such as Marvell, Cavium and NXP, white box vendors, VNF providers and leading service providers.
