                       BATM Receives First Orders from a
                            New leading International
                                Telecom supplier


London, 21st February 2006, BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LSE: BVC), is
delighted to announce that it has received first purchase orders, under a
binding Memorandum of Understanding with a new customer - a leading
international telecom supplier. The initial value of the contract is
approximately US$2M, with delivery starting immediately and ending before the
end of 2006. Assuming successful completion, BATM expects the scope and scale of
the contract to expand significantly going forward.

Under the contract BATM will adapt its BINOS networking software to the telecom
offering of this vendor. The BINOS will enable advanced quality of service
including MPLS/ HVPLS quality of service across IP access networks for Video,
Voice and Data on IP platforms.
